#101. Rare Cal.30RF. Standard 3 1/2" Barrel. Single Shot. Retains about 15% of the original nickel finish on the barrel. Brass frame and wooden grips in exellent condition. Mechanically perfect and has a bright shiny bore! Acoording to the Flayderman guide this type of deringer was only made in Cal.32RF and 22RF. This is a rare variation in Cal.30RF! Not many are known! The total production was about 4100 (32 and 22), made from 1859 to 1866. This is a very early production with a small serial number probably made in 1859-1860. Pre Civil War. It has the New-York Address on top of the barrel. Overall in very fine condition. Cartridges shown for information purposes only.
