WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE
#108433A. Cal 44-40 WCF. Third Model. 24"inch round barrel Rifle. About 65% original blue on barrel and magazine, 95% on frame! Very nice traces of the colour case on hammer and lever. Standard front and rear sight. Mechanically perfect with a near mint bore. Very nice wood with a few traces of handling! There is some light pitting on the left side of the barrel near the front sight, is hardly noticable. Gun was made in 1882! This rifle has not been used a lot! Total production of the Model 1873 WInchester was 720.609. Early rifles in Cal.44-40 are getting very hard to find in this condition! Cartridges shown for information purposes only.
