BRITISH PATTERN N0.1 MODEL 1855 SERGEANTS WRENCH COMBINATION TOOL
This Y shaped tool is the first of a series of sergeant's tools issued for the field maintenance of the type 1853 Enfield Rifles and Rifle Muskets. For use with Enfield Muskets, this Parker Hale style tool allows easy disassembly and re-assembly of Civil War era Enfield, Springfield, and similar Rifled Muskets. Made in 1855. Has a "TP" marking on the cramp. Not easy to find! All parts present; Turnscrew, Worm, Drift, Cramp, Pricher, Ball Drawer, NIpple Wrench and OIl Bottler. Fine condition.
