#55513. Cal. 32 Rimfire Long. Standard 6" octagon barrel. Matching serial numbers. Blue finish. Gun retains at least 75% of the original blue. Some flaking on right side of frame. Rosewood grips in excellent condition, with a few dings on the bottom near the serial number. Mecanically perfect with a shiny bore. The model 2 was a popular sidearm with officers and enlisted men during the Civil War. George Armstrong Custer owned a pair and the famous western gunfighter Wild Bill Hickok was carrying a Model No.2 Army revolver the night he was shot in 1874. The gun was manufactured in 1868. Total production of 77.155. Very fine to excellent condition.
