ALLEN THURBER MODEL 1847 POCKET PEPPERBOX
#136. Cal.32 percussion. SIx shot, 4" fluted barrels. Early first model made in Worchester, Massachusetts in 1847. First models had a hand rose vine engraved frame and a separately affixed nipple shield. Retains 85% of the blue finish. The walnut grips are in excellent condition. Mechanically perfect and all barrels have very fine bores. Total production is not known as there are no factory records known. Excellent condition.
